Yes, one photo is all it takes. After adding your vehicle, tap the "+" button and point your camera at any mechanic invoice. The app reads the service type, date, mileage, and cost automatically. Review the details, make any edits you want, and save. Start to finish: about 27 seconds. If you already have a photo of the invoice in your camera roll, you can upload that instead. No need to take a new one.
Any vehicle service invoice works: oil changes, brake jobs, tire rotations, transmission service, diagnostics, parts purchases, inspections, and more. Paper invoices, printed receipts, digital screenshots, and emailed PDFs are all supported. If it has a date, a service description, and a cost on it, the app can read it.
Every field is fully editable at any time, so even if the automatic read misses something, fixing it takes two taps. For best results, take the photo in good lighting with the invoice flat and fully in frame. The clearer the image, the more the app can pull automatically. But even a partial read beats typing everything from scratch.

Yes. If you photographed the invoice at the shop and it is sitting in your camera roll, you can upload it directly from your photo library. No need to retake anything. The app accepts JPEG, PNG, and PDF formats. However you captured the receipt, the app can work with it.
Vehicle Maintenance Log is currently available on iOS only, downloadable from the Apple App Store. Android support is something we are actively evaluating for a future release.
